Kristie Ashby

Managing Member

Margaret Ray, a seasoned expert with over 40 years of experience in senior care, founded and led CEU / Consulting & Education Unlimited, LLC. Her extensive background spanned a wide range of healthcare settings, including Acute Care, Assisted Living, Home Health Care, and Long-Term Care. Margaret's unique approach blended her deep knowledge with a touch of humor, creating engaging "edu-tainment" experiences that informed and entertained audiences.

Margaret passed away in April 2021 but has left a lasting legacy. CEU is still growing strong because of the firm foundation that Margaret left with policies & procedures, forms, and education materials.

Inspired by Margaret's mentorship, Kristie Ashby now carries the torch as the managing member of CEU. Having had the invaluable opportunity to learn from Margaret herself, Kristie is well-equipped to lead CEU into a bright future, building upon the strong foundation established over the past 40 years.

Kristie draws upon a diverse skillset to lead CEU, combining her academic background with practical hands-on experience. Her Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science provides a foundation in understanding human movement and well-being, while her CNA and QMAP training equip her with the knowledge and skills to provide direct care and administer medications.

Furthermore, Kristie possesses crucial regulatory knowledge and dementia certified training, enabling her to navigate the complex landscape of assisted living regulations and provide specialized support for memory care. Her experience working within assisted living communities and memory care settings gives her firsthand insight into the unique challenges and rewards of senior care. This comprehensive expertise makes Kristie a valuable resource and leader for CEU and the assisted living communities they serve.

CEU goes beyond individual expertise by bringing together a diverse team of assisted living professionals. This collaborative approach ensures comprehensive support for assisted living communities in all key areas

By offering this holistic approach, CEU empowers assisted living communities to thrive in every aspect of their operations.
